The article was published recently, after UHR asked the Norwegian government not to use a royal decree to re-establish the study programme for teacher training at Nesna, a Nord University campus that the board of the university decided to close down in 2019. In the article, Re-Structure project member and Professor Emeritus Ivar Bleiklie, was asked to comment. Amongst other things, he told University World News that “the use of a royal decree to reverse the closure of a campus is “highly unusual” (University World News, 2022)”.
